Life List

written by Jeremy

Several good friends of mine, who’s blogs I enjoy, have these lists of things they want to accomplish in their lives. I like the idea and think if mine is a matter of public record I will be more inclined to get them crossed off. I expect this list to grow and change over time and if I complete something, I think it will just get removed from the list. I don’t like leaving items I have already done on a list of things to do. It’s the Virgo in me.

In no particular order.

1. Visit Yellowstone National Park

2. Learn how to play the guitar (doesn’t have to be well)

3. Learn how to design websites

4. finish with my left foot (score a goal in soccer left-footed)

5. Join a kickball league

6. Run a marathon

7. Hike the Grand Canyon

8. Learn Spanish

9. Set foot on every continent

10. Teach a college class

11. Buy a house

12. Get my minister’s license and officiate a wedding

13. Take a martial arts class

14. Drive across the country

15. Teach myself to whistle with my fingers

16. Learn to play the harmonica

17. Build a treehouse (no girlz alowd)

18. Visit New York in the springtime and run in central park

19. Participate in a muddy buddy

20. Coach a youth soccer team

    Hi Jeremy!

Grace Boyle gave me the link to your blog. I too am a teacher who is interested in blogging. Let me start by saying, BRAVO! I LOVE how you’ve structured your blog, but also your Bucket List. My best friend had a bucket list which she started very young, while she was still a teenager. She was surprisingly able to “cross off” many of the things on her list seemingly because they were written……and because she was an amazing person. We tragically lost her this year, but she’s in our hearts. Anyway, I love the blog! You might have just gained another follower :)

These lists, and 43things.com in general, makes me really appreciate the things that I have done in my lifetime! To know that I have already completed a few of the things that are really important to someone else, keeps me from taking experiences for granted!
